Kindly Kept is designed to help you privately preserve greeting cards, notes, and keepsakes. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how that information is stored.
Kindly Kept does not require an account. Kindly Kept does not operate a custom developer server for your archive. Your card photos, details, notes, tags, recognized text, and related archive data are stored on your device and, when iCloud is available and enabled for your device, in your private iCloud container.
Kindly Kept does not collect any user data. Kindly Kept does not use third-party advertising or tracking.
You may choose to add information such as:
Greeting card or keepsake photos
Card title
Sender name
Recipient name
Occasion
Date received
Tags
Notes
Treasured/favorite status
Text recognized from card images
This information is used to create, organize, browse, search, and export your personal archive.
Kindly Kept may ask for access to your camera so you can capture cards directly in the app.
Kindly Kept may let you choose images from your photo library so you can import existing card photos. Photos you choose are copied into your Kindly Kept archive so they can remain available offline.
Kindly Kept only accesses photos or the camera when you choose to capture or import card images.
Kindly Kept can recognize text from card images to help you search your archive. Text recognition is performed on device using Apple system technology. Recognized text is stored with your archive so search can work later.
Kindly Kept stores archive data in the app's private storage on your device.
When iCloud is available for your device, eligible archive data can sync through your private iCloud container. Your iCloud account is managed by Apple. Kindly Kept does not receive your iCloud password or Apple Account credentials.
If you are not signed into iCloud, or if iCloud is unavailable or restricted, cards can still be saved locally on your device.
Kindly Kept can create exports, such as card images, PDFs, or archive details, when you choose an export option. Exports are created only at your request. Once you share or save exported files outside Kindly Kept, those files are controlled by the location or service you choose.
Kindly Kept does not require a custom account and does not send your personal archive to a developer-operated server.
Kindly Kept does not use third-party advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs.
If you contact support by email, the information you provide in that email will be used to respond to your request.
You can delete individual cards in the app.
You can also delete Kindly Kept from your device. Depending on your iCloud settings, app data may also be managed through Apple iCloud settings. To remove iCloud data associated with the app, review your device's iCloud storage settings.
Kindly Kept is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated account or server.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be revised.
